Meet Author Barbara Brovelli-Moon

Hello, and welcome to the "I Saw It!" series. During my 40+ years in education, I taught elementary, middle, and high school as well as in the School of Education at California State University, Sacramento.  Now retired from the Anchorage School District, and enjoying my free time to wander Alaska, I decided to continue my passions for learning and teaching by sharing my love of Alaska's animals. There really are no field guides for children, nor readily available, in-depth reading for families about the wildlife we have here. This series fills that need, and I hope you and your children enjoy the animals' stories and other features in these books.  And watch for me as I roam Alaska and the Pacific Northwest with my companion, Greg, and our mini doxy, Maggie, in our RV Walter pulling Thelma, our VW toad.
